BLT(Built up T-bar), which is used at straight area of hull and curved area of ship’s bow and stern, is structure member and stiffener to preserve intensity of hull. It is not a ready-made one, it is non standard type to be fabricated as per requirement. Two BLT production line for large and small size is managed and there is a special bending facility for curved BLT. ShinhwaTech is challenging to zero welding defects with self-developed primer removal facility for welding joint and edge rounding machine for BLT face plate.
